Join us on Earth Day, April 22, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the BCMUD Community Center Garden, 16318 Great Oaks Drive, for a free event that reflects the spirit of The Brushy Creek Life: community, sustainability, and family-friendly fun all in one place.

Enjoy a variety of activities and opportunities to connect with neighbors while caring for our environment:

• Chalk art in the garden
• “Dirt cup” treats (pudding, gummy worms, Oreos)
• Veggie straws and light snacks
• Water bottles provided
• Parachute games for all ages
• Plant giveaways to help grow your own garden
• Educational materials on recycling done right
• Recycling collection for:
• Paper towel & toilet paper rolls
• Batteries
• Grocery bags
• A special prize for the person who brings the most recyclables
